Privacy policy
Short and specific to how Casa Dajti actually works. If anything is unclear, email us — we would rather explain than hide behind boilerplate.
Who we are
Casa Dajti operates a single short-stay rental in Tirana, Albania and this website, and is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@casadajti.com.
What we collect, and why
We collect only what a specific action you take requires:
- When you request to book — your name, email, phone number (if you give one), the dates and guest count you choose, and the fact and time you ticked the consent box. We use this to check availability, price the stay, reply to confirm, and arrange payment.
- When you ask for the Fresku guide or updates — your email address and your consent, used only to send what you asked for and the occasional note about staying with us.
- When you browse — if analytics are enabled, limited technical data (pages viewed, approximate region, device type), processed in the EU. No advertising trackers.
Our legal basis
For the guide and updates, our basis is your explicit consent — a box that is never pre-ticked, and which you can withdraw at any time. For handling a booking request you send us, our basis is taking steps at your request toward a booking, together with your consent to be contacted about it.
Who processes it for us
We rely on a few providers, each acting only on our instructions:
- Hostex — our booking and property-management system, which holds reservation details.
- Resend — delivers our booking and update emails.
- Cloudflare and Convex — host this website and securely store booking requests.
- PostHog (EU) — privacy-conscious analytics, only when enabled.
- POK — a Bank of Albania–licensed provider that handles payment. We never see or store your full card details.
We do not sell your data or share it for unrelated purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep a booking request while we arrange and (if you stay) fulfil your booking, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and legal obligations. Guide and update emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
International transfers
Some of the providers above process data outside Albania and the EEA. Where they do, we rely on their standard data-protection safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict your data, object to a particular use, or receive a copy to move elsewhere — and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@casadajti.com and we will act promptly. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies
We use no advertising cookies. If analytics are enabled they set minimal first-party storage to measure usage; nothing loads until analytics are configured for this site.
